Course Introduction |
|
Smart Earth supports participation and communication between humans as well as human-machine and machine–machine interactions to provide IoT oriented intelligent services. This course focuses on the development and use of state-of-the-art emerging technologies, and the applications and services of smart Earth.This coursecovers basic smart Earth knowledge and current directions of research in smart Earth. This course presents the advances in smart Earth applications, which include lSmart city; lThe birth of Qimingxing and Luojia-3 satellites; lRemote sensing natural disaster monitoring and rapid response; lIntelligent remote sensing; lInternational cooperation in remote sensing; lMotion sensing in daily life; lIntelligent localization and perception for future development; lSmart perception in forest environment. |

Objective |

The aim of smart Earth is to make the world more intelligent, and increase interactions amongindividuals, enterprises, organizations, governments, and nature. Any interaction between themare opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and productivity. The development ofintelligent systems for smart Earth provides a more meaningful, and brand-new opportunity for us. Besides national defense and national security, smart Earth will have a wide range of applications in all kinds of work. This course focuses on the development and use of state-of-the-art emerging technology, and theapplications and services of smart Earth. This course covers basic smart Earth knowledge andcurrent directions of research in Smart Earth. |
